Day Tours & Chauffeur Service
The Day Tours can be 100% refunded 1 day (24hrs.) before the start of the tour, otherwise not refundable. Chauffeur Service booking can be 100% refunded 1 day (24hrs.) before the start of the tour, otherwise not refundable. In case of a delay or schedule change please contact us and we will alter the trip as available.
Airport Transfer
Airport Transfer can be 100% refunded 1 day (24hrs.) before the start of the transfer, otherwise not refundable. Your chauffeur will wait for you 1 hour (60min.) and after that he will depart. In the event of a delay, baggage lost or schedule change please contact us via phone.
Payment & Insurance
BT Travel ehf. uses Verifone Iceland as a secure payment getaway, you will get a link by email for the payment once the booking has been arranged. Upon payment your receipt will be sent by email and a confirmation of the tour sent in a seperate email.
BT Travel ehf. has an insurance contract with VÍS insurance company for our clients and vehicles. BT Travel holds no accountability for injuries sustained on our tours that are beyond our control such as trips, falling, fatal or non-fatal and etc. outside of our vehicles. We expect our clients to be careful on our tours and to follow local warning signs at designated locations. BT Travel ehf. holds all the necessary licences from the Icelandic Transport Authority (Licence no. 2550) and the Icelandic Tourist Board (Licence no. 2023-136).
Weather Warnings
BT Travel reserves the right to change or cancel reservations due to severe weather warnings issued by the Icelandic Meteorological office. Our priority is the safety of our clients and staff at any given time. In the event of a weather warning or road closures we will contact you as soon as possible and try to alter or cancel the service. In the event of a booking cancellation due to severe weather a full refund will be provided for the requested service.
